A Smarter, Healthier Snack Choice
Turmeric Roasted Nuts are a great snack you can make in bulk and easily stow away in your bag when you’re on the go. This is an easy recipe that will only take you 20-30 minutes from start to finish. You can also put your own spin on this roasted nuts recipe! Feel free to replace the coconut sugar with brown sugar, honey or anything else your heart desires. You can also use whatever mix of nuts you prefer and add other ingredients such as raisins after the nuts are done baking.
Turmeric Roasted Nuts Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup cashews
- ¼ cup walnuts
- ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tsp coconut sugar
- Pre-heat oven to 350*F.
- Mix the nuts and seeds in a large bowl.
- Melt the coconut oil in the microwave.
- Mix the sugar and spices into the coconut oil, then pour over the nuts.
- Place the nuts on a baking sheet in a single layer on parchment paper.
- Bake for 15 minutes; give the nuts a toss half way through.
