Sales and Marketing Analyst l

This role requires a highly self-motivated person with strong business acumen, analytical skills and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. Reporting to the Business Insights and Analytics Senior Manager, the Sales and Marketing Analyst l will be responsible for data management, data collection, data development, and reporting of sales related data to the organization. The Sales and Marketing Analyst l will play a critical role in the enhancement of business understanding and decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the ongoing communication, maintenance, and monitoring of standard data (e.g., volume, share, distribution) and performance measures via recurring reports
  • Maintain key attribute reports (for retailers and inventory) to ensure accuracy of the above
  • Manage account ownership in internal ERP and CRM platform to reflect current territory ownership
  • Manage promotions calendar to ensure that discounts are accurately executed by the CSR team and to give Sales and Marketing teams visibility to how promotions are executed in retail
  • Ensure accuracy of sales related materials (e.g. new item forms, new account forms, price lists)
  • Produce easily understood reports, analyze data and provide thoughtful insights to assist cross-functional teams with fact-based decision making
  • Create and analyze ad-hoc reports and compile PowerPoint presentations as needed to support organizational and sales and marketing initiatives
  • Train field sales team to use and understand reports and reporting resources (NetSuite and Salesforce)

  • Ability to work successfully with all levels of the organization

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (e.g. Finance, Marketing), Economics, or related discipline preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) user
  • 1 year of experience or comprehensive internship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert level in Excel
  • Knowledge of syndicated data sources (e.g. SPINS, Nielsen, IRI)
  • 1 year of experience or comprehensive internship
