Summary
Himalaya Wellness is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join our brand team, to support our North American portfolio of products that includes supplement and personal care, particularly our global brand—Himalaya since 1930.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be supporting the brand team to help analyze, develop, and execute annual consumer brand plans and product launches. You will work in strong collaboration with Innovation, Amazon/Ecommerce, Customer Marketing, Retail Sales, and Category Management, as well as Himalaya global team members based in Dubai and Bangalore hubs.
The role requires the ability to work collaboratively, to roll up their sleeves to execute and be flexible while working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities
Support go-to-market launches of new products, including communications of new product plans, development of sales collateral materials, and Ecommerce content for retail readiness.
Manage brand and educational content on Shopify website through content updates, ongoing monitoring, and reporting.
Develop and implement the brand’s SMS and email campaign strategies, also support organic social and earned media initiatives.
Manage product information and digital assets on Brandfolder and PIM, including routine updates and monitoring for missing or incorrect data.
Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of other marketing activities including retailer sell-ins (i.e. coordinate mock-ups), trade shows, and influencer partnerships (develop and mail out kits).
Size and scope global new item opportunities in personal care to bring to the US, Canada and Caribbean markets through category and competitive analysis and lead launches.
Initiate and manage branded packaging graphics for new item launches in Canada and Caribbean, including ownership of packaging review and approval process utilizing internal resources.
Analyze the business and develop an in-depth understanding of key drivers. Manage performance tracking for the brand team.
Utilize syndicated and other sources of data to develop expertise on the product, category, consumer, and competitive set and identify trends to be leveraged in products and marketing initiatives.
Get hands on with execution, partnering with brand team, creative services, Ecommerce/sales teams, and creative agency to bring plans to life.
Interface with, provide input to, and establish strong working relationships with agencies and vendors.
Prepare and create engaging, meaningful, and persuasive presentations.
Support the tracking of estimates and invoices and reconciling actual expenses.
Work with internal communications to create excitement around Business Wins and New Product Introductions.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience with at least 2 years in marketing or brand management, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods.
Strong communication skills, including written and verbal. The role will interact with different internal domestic and international teams.
Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently, solve problems, and prioritize in an environment with changing deadlines and priorities.
Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure deadlines are met both internally and externally.
Strong quantitative, analytic and problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into meaningful insights and action.
Collaborative and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft PC applications, specifically Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Experience with syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen), Shopify, Google Analytics and/or Amazon Seller Central is a plus.
High interest or passion in health and wellness.
