Summary

Himalaya Wellness is seeking a Social Commerce Manager (TikTok Shop) to scale Himalaya’s TikTok Shop presence across our Wellness portfolio including leading Natural Oral Care and Supplements products. This role will be instrumental in transforming TikTok into a meaningful revenue and customer acquisition channel for the brand.

Himalaya is a science-backed wellness company with nearly a century of expertise rooted in nature. As we expand our digital commerce footprint, this role will bridge content, creators, and commerce—bringing our products to life through TikTok-native storytelling, high-performing affiliate strategies and live shopping.
You will own day-to-day TikTok Shop operations while partnering closely with the Growth Marketing Team to scale our affiliate and creator ecosystem. This role will report to the Director of Growth Marketing.

Role Overview

As a Social Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for managing and scaling our presence across TikTok Shop. Your primary objective will be to drive top-line growth through social commerce, creator-led sales, and performance-driven marketplace execution, while supporting broader marketing and commercial initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Social Commerce & Marketplace Management

  • Manage and operate TikTok Shop ensuring seamless storefront setup, product assortment, pricing, and promotional execution.
  • Support day-to-day operations including product uploads, campaign setup, order flow monitoring, customer service, inventory management and issue resolution.

Product & Content Optimization

  • Own assortment. Work with cross functional teams and leadership on pricing.
  • Optimize product listings with compelling titles, descriptions, visuals, and short- form video content tailored to TikTok and social commerce best practices.
  • Work closely with internal teams and creators to scale content and ensure content aligns with brand messaging and conversion goals.

Creator & Affiliate Commerce

  • Collaborate with Marketing team to support TikTok Shop affiliate and creator programs, including onboarding creators, tracking performance, and assisting with product seeding and campaign execution.
  • Manage TikTok affiliate programs including establishing commission tiers, outreach, engagement, retargeting and performance tracking.
  • Initiate and scale LIVE shopping.
  • Research and execute against new opportunities (on or off platform) to increase affiliate engagement and drive sales.
  • Monitor creator-driven sales performance and help identify high-performing content and partners.

Performance Marketing & Promotions

  • Develop paid media strategy, plan and execute paid advertising on TikTok, both GMV Max and Ads, and other platforms including Meta. Tie advertising to revenue outcomes.
  • Plan and execute campaigns across TikTok Shop and other platforms, including flash sales, platform-wide events, and promotional programs.
  • Track campaign performance and contribute to optimization efforts to improve ROI and scale winning initiatives.

Commercial & Performance Analysis

  • Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and customer data to identify growth opportunities, risks, and optimization areas.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and insights to support commercial decision- making.

Competitive & Market Insights

  • Monitor competitors, category trends, pricing strategies, and platform updates across TikTok and other ecommerce channels.
  • Share insights and recommendations to help strengthen our competitive position.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, Insights C Analytics, operations, and supply chain teams to align TikTok Shop execution with overall business objectives.
  • Support broader marketing and commercial initiatives as needed, including product launches and go-to-market planning.

Compliance s Operations

  • Ensure compliance with platform policies, product claims, pricing guidelines, and promotional rules.
  • Manage TikTok inventory and monitor orders to meet SLAs. Coordinate with Sales Support and Operations to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery.
  • Monitor Returns/refunds.

Continuous Learning

  • Stay current on social commerce trends, TikTok algorithm changes, creator commerce best practices, and evolving e-commerce tools and platforms and scale the role as the channel evolves.

Champions AI

  • Own the exploration and application of AI tools across content creation, influencer identification, performance analytics, and campaign optimization. Stay at the forefront of emerging AI capabilities and translate them into scalable strategies that drive competitive advantage on TikTok Shop.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, social media, or marketplace operations. TikTok experience is an absolute requirement.
  • Strong interest in TikTok, ecommerce, social commerce, wellness trends, and creator-driven marketing.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce metrics (sales, conversion rate, ROAS, CAC, etc.) and how to improve them.
  • Comfortable working with data and learning analytics tools such as TikTok Shop Seller Center, TikTok Ads Manager, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and eager to grow in a hands-on commercial role.
  • Experience in TikTok Ads, social media marketing, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience and a personal interest in supplements, natural industry or personal care is a significant advantage to candidates.
